Dr. Drury has a unique background, having practiced as a dentist for over 20 years, coupled with non-clinical experience and active leadership roles. He had an extremely rewarding career with personal, financial, and professional achievements but decided to pursue a passion outside of clinical dentistry to achieve a broader impact within the healthcare industry. Dr. Drury completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Riverside with a B.S. in Psychobiology (Neuroscience) and EMT-1 certification at UCLA. After earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, he completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Postdoctoral Program. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a recognition that requires over 500 credit hours, a designation held by only 6% of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada.

Dr. Drury serves in an advisory capacity to several boards, including Promethean Dental Systems, Revere Partners, Profit4Dentists.com, University of Stetson (leadership and innovation), and Recordlinc, where he has designed software and conducted competitive market analytics. He has also been recognized with awards from the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, the California Legislative Assembly, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Drury is an international allied thought leader for www.teethcloud.org and was awarded one of the top 100 international Doctors for 2023 by www.top100doc.com. He was honored as an Honorary Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics for 2022 (www.iadfe.org), San Diego Top Doctor from 2008-2020, and California Top Doctor for 2023 (www.findatopdoctor.com). He has also been nominated for the International College of Dentists 2023 honor society. Dr. Drury is a board member for childrensdentalhealth.org and enjoys collaborating with other thought leaders nationally and internationally to improve lives and have a positive impact.
Dr. Drury is an honorary fellow of the International College of Dentistry, which less than 3% of the world holds. The International College of Dentists is the pre-eminent global dental honor society recognizing outstanding professional achievement and meritorious service while advocating for humanitarian and educational initiatives. The values are leadership, recognition, humanitarianism, and education globally.

Dr. Neda S. Pelar holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology and has specialized in researching nano-drugs and developing drug delivery systems for cancer treatment. With extensive experience in cancer research, nanobiotechnology, and project management, she has worked as a senior scientist and R&D project manager at companies like AJK Biopharmaceutical, Nitto Avecia, and Hycor Biomedical. She also holds a Project Management degree from UC Irvine. As an educator, published researcher, and PM expert, she helps startups and professionals bring their technologies to market, all while championing women’s activism and enjoying the outdoors.

Benny Barak is an accomplished CEO with a diverse career across the medical device, real estate, and consulting sectors. As CEO of Magdent, Benny leads the company’s growth strategy, positioning it for international expansion while advancing its groundbreaking electromagnetic dental technology. Under his leadership, Magdent has secured regulatory achievements, expanded its global footprint, and is now building to its next level of international success. Prior to Magdent, Benny led US real estate firms with $1 billion in transactions, worked as a strategic consultant in Accenture, and as a corporate and VC legal attorney, involved in international transactions in a verity of industries in one of the leading law firms in Israel. An ex-professional handball and water polo player, Benny enjoys swimming, scuba diving, and music festivals around the world.

Dr. Huyuh is a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists (FICOI). He received his Bachelor’s in Molecular and Cell Biology at U.C. Berkeley and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pennsylvania. He completed his post-graduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D) at University of California in San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Huynh achieved multiple clinical research and clinical performance rewards during his dental school and residency. He is also a recipient of undergraduate and graduate alumni scholarships. He was the former Silicon Valley District Dental Director of SmileCare Inc (bought by Coast Dental Inc) from 2006 until 2008. Dr. Huynh has been practicing dentistry in El Cerrito and Hayward California for 20 years. He is well-trained in all aspects of general dentistry. He has enjoyed mentoring, teaching and educating inexperienced dentists over the years. Dr. Huynh is on the board of multi-organizations such as Recordlinc, Healing California, InHandHealth. Dr. Huynh is a founder of Online Dental CE Forum and Dental Medical Charity Forum. His YouTube channel has impacted thousands of people through his sharing of knowledges and dental clinical experience. He is married and enjoys raising one son. He loves painting, drawing and is a big fan and good player of soccer, table tennis and golf.

Nikolaus A. Walch is a dental veteran with almost 20 years representing the industries leaders. Nik started at SureSmile where as Product Manager lead the migration into the Cloud and the Aligner transformation. At Dentsply Sirona he used the experience integrating CBCT with IO scans to launch the revolutionary Orthophos SL line to the US market. Nik later joined Dürr Dental as head of Product Management Air Techniques in NY introducing their first CBCT systems to the US market. Nik has consulted on Ortho, Imaging, and comprehensive smile treatment for Invisalign (Align Tech), Digital Smile Design, and others. At ClearTPS he was Director of Operations and later Sr. Dir. Business Development. Recently Nik has worked extensively with the top DSOs in North America. Nik is from Germany and has lived in Canada and the USA, with assignments in both Brazil and China. In 2013 he graduated with a 4.0 dual Masters MBA, and Systems Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Carter Crockett held strategic marketing roles for a number of innovative technology and consumer product companies in the United States. In 2000, Carter left product management at Microsoft to become Co-Founder & President of Dealer Trade Group, a venture-backed wholesale (B2B) marketplace for vehicles, which he led for two years. After wielding the power of entrepreneurship, Carter sought the credentials and opportunities to build noble ventures and share this power with others. Carter dedicated research efforts to exploring the moral and social implications of entrepreneurs and has coached founders on three continents. Co-founding and leading the first business consulting firm in Rwanda remains the highlight of his career. Karisimbi Business Partners is a socially-motivated enterprise that guides business leaders in making strategic decisions and extending the impact their company aspires to play in the building of this hopeful country. Carter received his B.A. in Business & Economics from Westmont College and earned a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Scott Mappin began his experience with dental technology after school as a teenager in his father's lab and has spent more than 44 years as a dental technician. He owned a lab in Vermont for 13 years, held the title of Director of Education and Training in one of the largest NDX labs, and has been a guest speaker at Harvard Dental School. As the first remote trainer hired by 3M, Scott trained more than 100 dentists and staff from around the U.S. and Europe to scan intra-orally with 3M's LAVA COS and integrate that system into their practice. He was a manager in the largest LAVA milling lab in the U.S. and was also certified to train dentists on the iTero Intra-oral scanning system. In 2016, he took control of the company. When he's not at the milling center, Scott spends his free time traveling, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, motorcycling, camping, and scuba diving.

Eric P. Rose, NPDP, MBA, is the president of Pinnacle Product Innovation, Inc., bringing over 35 years of expertise in product innovation, development, and commercialization across consumer, medical, and industrial sectors. He supports startups and Fortune 500 companies in turning concepts into market-ready products, specializing in new product strategy, project management, and corporate innovation processes under ISO and FDA standards. Notable roles include leadership positions at Moldex-Metric, Discus Dental, Interlink Electronics, and Mattel, where he launched groundbreaking products like the Intel Play QX3 Digital Video Microscope. Eric, a certified NPDP, holds an MBA from Pepperdine and a BS in Engineering from ASU, and is a recognized author, speaker, and educator in product innovation and entrepreneurship at universities such as Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine.

Lacy Walker is a highly accomplished registered dental hygienist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Oral Health Promotion and over 25 years of experience across multiple dental specialties. She holds a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) certification, is a MAADH (Member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene) where she serves as Public Relations Chair and President-Elect, and holds a FAAOSH (Fellowship with the American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health). As an international speaker, author, and owner of Shared Hygiene LLC, Lacy is dedicated to advancing dental health education and promoting collaboration within the dental and healthcare communities. She is the author of Choices and has worked in a diverse range of settings, including periodontal, cosmetic, DSO, general private, military, and psychiatric hospital environments, giving her a broad and unique perspective on patient care and dental hygiene. Lacy’s commitment to education is one of her greatest strengths. She excels at bringing valuable knowledge to the dental community and other healthcare organizations through the development of continuing education platforms, curriculum design, and assessment tools. As the Continuing Education (CE) Director for A Tale of Two Hygienists Podcast, she has pioneered the integration of podcast materials into educational content, creating curriculum and testing resources to help dental professionals advance their skills and knowledge. A Fellow with the American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health and a founding member of RDH Connect, Lacy is also an influential figure within the American Academy of Dental Hygiene. Her insights and expertise have been published in DACE, Dr. Bicuspid, and RDH Magazine, where she continues to share her knowledge with a broad audience. Lacy Walker’s leadership, dedication to education, and commitment to bridging oral health with systemic health make her a respected and dynamic leader within the dental community.
